System in: Mac, os: Sierra 10.12.6 I was attempting to install TSclust using the following command on my xterm command line after opening Xquartz. I have also tried running this command from the mac.
VirtualBox 6.0. My host is Windows 10 latest update as of this post. Kali-linux-2019.4-amd64 is the iso im trying to use. After allocating memory and all the typical stuff you do to start a new VM, whenever I finally start the VM to install the OS, it displays my boot menu and all my options but freezes indefinitely.
Mac OS X Description After installing macOS 10.14 Mojave Beta 1 (18A293u), I can no longer use VirtualBox, as VBoxDrv.kext is blocked by AppleKextExcludeList.kext.
VirtualBox 6.0.4 (released January 28 2019) This is a maintenance release. The following items were fixed and/or added: Virtualization core: support Shanghai/Zhaoxin CPUs. User interface: handle command line arguments to VirtualBox correctly (bugs #18206 and #18197). Since you had already downloaded the VirtualBox Mac OS image, select “Create a new virtual hard disk file” with “VMDK” Disk and “Dynamically Allocated”. On the “create virtual machine” dialog box click on “Create”. The macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 virtual machine will be created within a few minutes.
Oracle VM VirtualBox is an open source and cross-platform virtualization utility that makes it possible to extend your computer's capabilities so that it can be used to run a large number of operating systems (inside multiple virtual machines), using the same hardware you use for your daily tasks. Operating system virtualization solution for multiple-platforms Thus, with the help of Oracle VM VirtualBox, users can easily have Windows and Linux applications running on a Mac, have Windows Server 2008 running on a Linux server, run Linux programs on a Windows based PC, and so on. Moreover, Oracle VM VirtualBox is designed to enable you to install and run as many operating systems on as many virtual machines as you need. The only physical and practical limitations in the number of virtualized OSs and virtual machines that you can run at the same time, is your computer's limited memory and disk space. Virtualize any OS on embedded, desktop or cloud-based environments More importantly, the Oracle VM VirtualBox virtualization app is very simple to use, yet it also packs a vast selection of powerful tools and features, making it easy for one to run it on almost any platform, from small desktop class machines and embedded systems, all the way up to massive data centers and even Cloud-based environments. Oracle VM VirtualBox’s most important advantage is that it can be used to run software belonging other operating systems on Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, and Solaris hosts. Support for a diverse range of OSs and a large variety of virtualization uses Thus, Oracle VM VirtualBox comes with extensive support for a substantial number of guest operating systems including, but absolutely not limited to, Mac OS X (10.5 or later), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4 and 2.6), Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OpenBSD, and OS/2.
Command Prompt Download
Besides effortlessly virtualizing a large assortment of operating systems on any platform, Oracle VM VirtualBox can also be employed for installing and configuring a virtual appliance, test software within a controlled and easy to alter platform. As an added bonus, if needed, Oracle VM VirtualBox can also be used to drastically reduce energy and hardware costs by using the same computers to run multiple computing platforms on the same physical hardware platforms. Powerful and open source virtualization solution On the whole, Oracle VM VirtualBox should be the virtualization software of choice to anyone with a focus on open source solutions.

VirtualBox is a general-purpose full virtualizer for x86 hardware. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software.
Features:
Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox.
Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers.
Guest Additions for Windows, Linux and Solaris. VirtualBox has special software that can be installed inside Windows, Linux and Solaris virtual machines to improve performance and make integration much more seamless. Among the features provided by these Guest Additions are mouse pointer integration and arbitrary screen solutions (e.g. by resizing the guest window). There are also guest additions for OS/2 with somewhat reduced functionality.
Shared folders. Like many other virtualization solutions, for easy data exchange between hosts and guests, VirtualBox allows for declaring certain host directories as 'shared folders', which can then be accessed from within virtual machines.
